ALSO:

The Alpena Drug Abuse Resistance Education program is sponsoring a basketball game between the D.A.R.E. All Stars and Detroit Lions alumni. The event takes place Friday (5-12) at Thunder Bay Junior High School in Alpena, starting at 7:30. Refreshments will be provided free to kids who attend. Pictures with, and autographs of the Detroit Lions players themselves will also be available. Tickets are $20.00 each, or $50.00 per family and can be purchased by calling 800-445-2143 or online at alpenadare.publicsafetypsa.com. All proceeds stay local and it go into programs for students.
