The Hillman Board of Education has approved joining the Ski Valley Conference beginning in the 2012/2013 winter sports season. Superintendent / Elementary Principal Shawn Olson felt the move will bring more consistent games to the junior high and junior varsity sports programs. She noted that currently, Hillman has had many games canceled due to other schools in the North Star League not having junior high and junior varsity programs. "The Ski Valley has a strong athletic program and we are excited to become a part of a such conference," she said. |
