Monday Morning Local Sports Roundup Mon, 29 Oct 2012 02:01:20 EDT FRIDAY ACTION (26): Football: District Playoffs: Central Lake 22 - Onaway 12 Beal City 62 - Mio 0 Ishpeming 40 - Alcona 12 Johannesburg Lewiston 62 - Hillman 14 SATURDAY (27): Cross Country: Alpena runner Ethan Crowell qualifed for the state finals after finishing 10th in a division 1 Regional. He will compete in the finals next Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. The Rogers City boys cross country team qualified for the Division 4 finals as they finished 3rd Saturday. Other qualifiers include Joe Traynham from Onaway and David Haskin from Fairview. Megan Quick from Alcona competed in the Division 4 Regional Saturday and qualified for the cross country state finals finishing 8th out of 100 runners.
