The Tigers have hit the road. Detroit will play Game Three of its American
League Division Series against the A's on Tuesday night in Oakland. On Sunday,
Detroit earned a 5-4 win and a commanding two-games-to-none lead in the
best-of-five series. Anibal Sanchez will start tomorrow night at the Coliseum,
while the A's counter with left-hander Brett Anderson.

The Lions will return to practice on Tuesday morning in Allen Park. Detroit is
coming off a bye week and will travel to Philadelphia on Sunday. The Lions are
1-and-3, while the Eagles are 3-and-2 heading into this weekend's matchup.

Training camp continues for the Pistons. Detroit will open preseason play
Wednesday night at home against Toronto. On Saturday, the Pistons held an open
practice at the O'rena located on the campus of Oakland University. Head coach
Lawrence Frank said he liked that the Pistons practiced and played hard on
Saturday, and that the fans were not a distraction to his younger players.
