Big I Junior Classic Winners Announced Wed, 30 Jun 2010 8:31:22 EDT 
The Trusted Choice Big "I" Junior Classic was recently held at the River's Edge Golf Course in Alpena, and the winners have been announced. Winners in the Boys First Division are Ian Stevens (who shot an 83 for 18 holes), followed by Tate Skiba (89) and Austin Scott (91). Winners in the Girls Division were Sara Musch (89) and Maggie Skiba (95). Winner of the Second Division for 13 years old and younger was Austin Paczkowski with a 111. All winners are from Alpena. Stevens, Scott, Musch and both Skibas will advance to state tournament play in Frankenmuth on July 12. Josh Nunneley and Skyler Skiba have also advanced. Winners in the state tournament will advance to play July 26-30 in Chesterfield, New Jersey. The Big "I" Junior Classic was sponsored by Zolniereck Insurance. |
