Scotty G - Beaver Lake Walleye Fishing Tournament Mon, 10 Mar 2008 4:50:25 There were a lot of happy fishermen at the "Scotty G - Beaver Lake Walleye Fishing Tournament" held on Saturday. Adult Division: Joe Clark - 26 1/2 inch Justin Weischowski 26 inch Gary bendig 25 1/2 inch Eric Hopp 25 inch Youth Division: Ben Schrader 18 1/2 inch Trevor LaComb 17 1/2 inch Chris O'Neal 16 1/2 inch Chad Standen 16 1/2 inch All told, 102 adults and 13 youth registered for the tournament with money raised going towards ice rescue equipment in honor of Scott Gierszewski who lost his life on Beaver Lake last January. All told, over 3 thousand dollars was raised. Ironically, Joe Clark won the adult division using some of Scott's ice fishing equipment. |
