Ice Diggers - Peterson_ McCusker_ Viau_ Off To Prospects Wed, 13 Feb 2008 20:04:12 PETERSON, MCCUSKER, VIAU OFF TO PROSPECTS (Sunday Feb. 17 - Tuesday Feb 19 Ann Arbor MI) The NAHL will host a top prospects event in Ann Arbor MI starting Sunday February 17th. The Alpena IceDiggers will send three representatives to the three day event. IceDiggers leading scorer Erik Peterson, team captain Jimmy McCusker and assistant captain Isaac Viau will suit up for the North division team. Equipment manager Tate Precord will also represent the IceDiggers as the equipment manager at the event. "This is a great chance for these three young men to showcase their talents once again in front of a large number of scouts." said head coach Kenny Miller "I am confident they will make our organization proud." The top prospects event is made up of an all star team from the North division, Central division, South division and the USNTDP (Team USA). The North division team is made of players from Alpena, St. Louis, Mahoning Valley, Marquette and Traverse City. The North will take on the Central division team on Sunday at 4:00PM. On Monday the North team will take on the South division team at 4:00PM. The event will wrap on Tuesday afternoon when the North team takes on the USNTDP (Team USA). Face off is set for 3:15PM. All games will be played at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube home of the USA National program. Ticket prices are $25.00 for an adult tournament pass, $10.00 seniors/students pass. Daily tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for seniors/students.
