Inductees Announced For Alpena Sports Hall Of Fame Tue, 15 Jan 2008 4:39:44 4 individuals were announced as being the next 4 who will be inducted into the Alpena Sports Hall Of Fame. The 4 honorees include: Mike Misiak - who was an outstanding letterman in numerous sports and conference honoree who graduated from the old Alpena Catholic Central High School in 1961. Sue Peterson (Tuohy) - who is a 1967 graduate of Alpena High School, who has numerous golf, speed skating, and bowling titles to her credit. Pat Decaire - also a 1964 Alpena Catholic Central High School graduate, who lettered in numerous sports including all conference and most valuable player honors. And Harley Mackenzie - a 1952 graduate of Alpena High School who lettered in numerous sports, most notable in football where he earned 2nd team all state honors, and played college ball for Wayne and Michigan State. The 4 who have been selected by the Hall Of Fame Association will be inducted into the hall of fame at a dinner on May 3rd. |
