The Alpena Downtown Development Authority (DDA) met Tuesday afternoon (March 6th) and heard Executive Director Anne Gentry give her report.

In her report, Gentry mentioned that the DDA is looking to review their strategic plan, something the DDA updates every five years and revisits every year, looking at their accomplishments and what they have achieved. She said, "It's kind of like our guiding document."

Gentry explained one thing the DDA is currently working on include their Facade Grant Program, where the DDA awards three grants of up to $5,000 per project. Some priorities moving forward include updating their digital marketing and branding, something they are in the process of developing, as well as updating parking lot signage and different "way-finding" signage.

Gentry added the strategic plan is scheduled to be reviewed in the early summer.
