MSP Answer 73 Calls for Service

Michigan State Police from the Alpena Post responded to 73 calls for service during the week ending Sunday (11-26).

Fifteen of the calls were for traffic crashes, eight were for criminal traffic issues, six for liquor violations and five each for assaults/stalking and burglar alarms.

Police also addressed ten fugitives/fleeing/obstruction of justice complaints which resulted in five people being arrested satisfying seven outstanding warrants. The other four complaints were three probation violations and one parole detainer from the Michigan Department of Corrections.

The Michigan State Police Alpena Post serves Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, Oscoda, and Presque Isle counties.
