Average Gas Price Drops in Past Week

The state average price of just over $2.52 ($2.52.1) for a gallon of regular gas dropped by nearly ten (9.8) cents in the past week, but is still nearly 44 cents (43.8) higher than last year.

Northeast Lower Michigan prices have decreased slightly, but for the most part remain unchanged. As of this (Monday) morning, Grayling was $2.41... Gaylord $2.49... Alpena $2.54... Tawas $2.55... Oscoda $2.64... while Cheboygan and Rogers City were $2.69.

The state low and high ranged from $2.11 and $2.99 while the national average was $2.50.
