Mon, 20 Nov 2017 06:03:22 EST

The state average cost per gallon of regular gas this week is nearly $2.62 a gallon, which is 12 cents lower than last week, but 51 cents higher (50.8) than last year.

As pipeline repairs and maintenance are being completed, and things returning to normal after hurricane activity, the supply has been increasing and prices started to fall.

Northeast Lower Michigan followed suit. As of this (Monday) morning, Grayling was $2.53... Gaylord $2.57... Alpena $2.61... Tawas was $2.62... Oscoda $2.69... while Cheboygan and Rogers City were $2.74.

The national average was $2.54.
