While lawmakers are out on summer break and on the campaign trail, the latest polling data suggests that people are not very favorable when it comes to Republicans controlling the legislature.
Republicans currently hold the majority in both chambers and other state offices.
WATZ News Correspondent Tim Skubeck reports that 56 percent say they have a negative view of Republicans, while they are evenly split on their negative view of Democrats.
And 48 percent say they would vote for Democrats while only 34 percent say they would vote for Republicans.
