More Fun Around The 4th

If you did not have enough fun on the 4th, there is still plenty to do all weekend long as various celebrations continue in the region this holiday weekend.

In Harrisville, there is a full slate of activity today (Saturday) with a craft show, rubber duck races, children's parade, and fireworks at dusk. Some of the activity continues Sunday.

In Hillman, it's Mill River Days mainly centered around the Brush Creek Mill. There is an arts and craft show, pet show and kids games, Bridge walk, and the Wheels Car Club Cruise in at Thunder Bay Resort. Sunday, the club is holding their annual car show which replaced drag races.

In Lewiston, Saturday activity includes the Lewiston Area Historical Society Heritage Day from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and a Deep Fried Turkey Dinner.

In Luzerne, enjoy the Saturday Art in the park event, American Legion Steak dinner, Luzerne Fire Department Garage Sale \ Chicken BBQ dinner - Arts and Crafts - children's games - live entertainment - beverage tent - parade - capped off with fireworks at dusk.

Onaway will feature the continuation of the Dancing Hippo Arts and Crafts Festival , at the new location on the Onaway courthouse Lawn. There will be a Red, White and Blue Bike Ride starting at 10am at the Millersburg Trail Head to Onaway Chandler Park, picnic to follow at Chandler Park. And on Sunday, the Dancing Hippo Arts and Crafts Festival continues.

Saturday, the community of Presque Isle celebrates at the New Lighthouse Park with a children’s Parade, Community picnic, and fireworks at Dusk.

And in Rogers City it's a Family Fun Day with Free activities at Lakeside Park. At 7;00 there is a summer concert with the Petoskey Steel Drum Band and then Fireworks at dusk.
