City Picking Up Yard Waste Next Week Fri, 09 May 2008 5:26:20 Another month, another opportunity to rid of yard waste in the City of Alpena. A grass and brush pick-up is scheduled in various residential areas next week. Beginning Monday (05-12), crews will work the area east of Ripley Boulevard and south of Washington Avenue. On Tuesday, it's north of the river and east of Chisholm street. Wednesday, it's west of Ripley and south of Washington. Pickup concludes Thursday north of Washington, south of the river, and west of Chisholm. Material should be placed at the curb no earlier than two days before your scheduled pickup day and no later than 6 a.m. on that day. Brush piles are limited to six-foot by six-foot. |
