Huron Undercover Narcotics Team Makes Arrests Wed, 07 May 2008 4:20:43 The Huron Undercover Narcotics Team arrested 3 individuals last week in Montmorency and Presque Isle County as the result of suspected illegal drug activity. Those arrested include: An 18 year-old male after a series of controlled purchases of Marijuana were executed in Hillman Township. The individual was charged with two counts of Delivery of Marijuana, and two counts of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana. A 17 year-old male was arrested after a series of controlled purchases of Marijuana in the Village of Hillman. The individual was charged with two counts of Delivery and two counts of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana. Both subjects were lodged in the Montmorency County Jail, pending formal arraignment and bond. And a 27 year-old male from Onaway who was a sex offender fugitive was apprehended by HUNT following an investigative contact that was conducted in Onaway. The fugitive was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant held by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Department. The fugitive was lodged at the Presque Isle County Jail, pending transfer to Emmet County authorities. |
