Graduation Coming Up At ACC Tue, 06 May 2008 15:11:40 Alpena Community College is preparing to send another group up the career ladder. 284 students are candidates for A-C-C Associate Degrees and Certificates following the Spring semester. Almost 150 students were graduates in Summer and Fall 2007. On May 7th at 7 pm is the Nurses pinning ceremony in A-C-C's Park Arena. On May 8th, an Honor's breakfast is at 9 am at the Alpena Holiday Inn, where the John M Grant Front Runner Awards will be presented. At 7 o'clock that evening is the Commencement Ceremony at Park Arena. During the event, Anna and Jesse Besser Awards will be given, as well as, Designation of the College Fellow and Distinguished Graduate award. The commencement address will be given by Lisa Dietlin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lisa Dietlin and Associates, Incorporated. The day concludes with a reception at Jesse Besser Museum. |
