Rogers City Wanting To Join Michigan Main Street Program Mon, 05 May 2008 15:31:29 The City of Rogers City is vying for membership in a program that would help improve their community. The City has sent an application (05/01) to be part of the Michigan Main Street Program, associate level. The program is administered through the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office and Michigan State Housing Development Authority, and offers technical assistance and service to local communities to help improve and revitalize downtowns. The intent is to retain and attract young people, professionals and high tech companies to Michigan If selected, Rogers City would be open to opportunities to receive more information, to network, and for training in the areas of organization, promotions, economic restructuring and design. |
