State Representative Kevin Elsenheimer Has Decided To End His Campaign For The Michigan Court Of Appeals And Run For Re-Election To The State House In The 105th District In The Northern Lower Peninsula.

His Decision Has Prompted Dennis Lennox Of Topinabee To Drop Out Of The Race For The Republican Nomination And Throw His Support Behind Elsenheimer. The Question Now Is Whether John Ramsey, Father Of The Late Jonbenet Who Was Murdered In 1996, Will Stay In The Race. The Charlevoix Businessman Had Earlier Said He Was "Committed" To Running For The Seat. Ramsey Lost In The 2004 Primary To Elsenheimer By 510 Votes.

The 105th District Covers Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan And Otsego Counties.
