Hale Man Arrested For Possessing Molotov Cocktail Mon, 05 May 2008 15:21:09 A 47-year-old Hale man was arrested after police found a make-shift bomb in his backyard. Police responded on May 2 to reports that he was making a bomb using gasoline, reportedly to use on a local business. During their investigation, police learned that the man had a verbal altercation and threatened the business. He then reportedly left the business and began producing a Molotov Cocktail in his yard. Police rendered the device safe after arriving at the scene. The man was arrested for possessing a device with explosive capability, with intent to terrorize, a charge which carries a four-year maximum penalty. |
