City Of Alpena Recognized For Excellent Financial Reporting Mon, 05 May 2008 4:27:44 For the 14th year in a row, the City of Alpena has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial reporting. The award comes from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada and is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. The award was presented to individuals responsible for preparing the City's comprehensive annual financial report....
