Power Outages In Alcona County Fri, 02 May 2008 7:35:50 Same fuse... 2 outages.... Consumers energy experienced some electrical service interruptions this morning in Alcona County. At about 4:30 AM, power went out in the LaFave Road, Black River Area and was restored just after 7:00 AM.... a line fuse opening up the suspected cause. Then 20 minutes later, power went out again with the same fuse opening up... and crews were patrolling lines to investigate further. The utility also reported some 12 thousand were without service in the Houghton Lake - Prudenville area this morning... that the result of a failed insulator. |
