Warmer And Drier For Month Of April Fri, 02 May 2008 5:19:09 Warmer and drier... that pretty much sums up the weather conditions for the month of April. According to automatic weather recording equipment data at the Alpena County Regional Airport, the overall mean temperature for the month was 45 point 2..... nearly 5 degrees warmer than usual. The area saw 2 point 8 inches of precipitation, which is point 23 lower than usual. And there was less snow.... Since last July, 75 point 2 inches was recorded... a normal range is 85 and a half inches, making for over 10 inches less than usual for the season. |
