Jaime Adams is a product of the Great and Free State of Maple Ridge.
Jaime won many local, state, and national awards as a member of the
Alpena County 4-H horse program.
She attended Western Michigan University for instrumental and choral
education and food consumption. She studied voice, oboe, and English horn;
was a staff member of the Bronco Marching Band; and was a charter member
of WMU's chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary band fraternity.
Jaime won several awards at the state and regional level as a vocal
soloist.
Jaime started working at WATZ as a summer intern in 2007 and joined
the news team full-time in June of 2011.
When she's not learning the news room ropes from Bruce and Phil, she
might be supervising the daily activities of Teddy the Miniature Pinscher,
helping out the Alpena High School bands, rooting for MSU and WMU football
(and losing her voice in the process), or continuing her studies in food
consumption.
