He went on to the retail sales field. Eventually his interest in current affairs led him down the path of news reporting. He also served in "Public Service" before returning to the WATZ newsroom.

When not working on news, Bruce maintains a number of the stations computers, web page development and a host of other "technical stuff".

 He also enjoys driving in his classic car, ham radio and digital audio music recording in his home studio.
