April
Ahlgren is Weekday News Anchor for WATZ / WRGZ.
A
little bit about me…My birthday is April 23rd and in the year
2098, I'll be 116 years old. I have two absolutely wonderful parents, a sister Rachel, a
brother Gerard, 5 cats, and a boatload of friends and acquaintances.
I
remember listening to WATZ News on the way to High School every morning,
thinking I could do that. Well, here I am, and proud to be a voice in the
community. My favorite part about being a broadcast journalist is that you
are able to learn something new everyday and become very aware of
important issues/events that affect the general public.
As
for my academic credentials, I am a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School,
and a 2002 Graduate of Alpena Community College.
My
spare time activities vary from time to time...but I enjoy laughing with friends,
watching movies, writing, and playing my saxophone. I also have a strange fascination
with stair escalators. (They are super awesome)
God
Bless YOU

IT'S NOT BROKE, DON'T FIX IT. BUT, IF IT IS...I SUGGEST USING
YELLOW
DUCT TAPE. IT WORKS WONDERS AND LOOKS SO DARN COOL."
