Alpena Optimist Rubber Duckie Race - Tickets will be sold during the parade. The rubber ducks will be released from the 9th Street bridge following the parade, then float down the river to The Rotary Island Mill Park.

13th Annual Thunder Bay Maritime Festival - 10:00 AM \ 5:00 PM - at the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary/Heritage Center. PRESQUE ISLE TWP:

July 5thLocation: New Lighthouse Park, Presque Isle, MI

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. - Community picnic.

FIREWORKS at Dusk

Visit Presque Isle Michigan - between Alpena and Rogers City - home to two Lighthouses.
The oldest, built in 1840, is the smaller of the two and is no longer in service, but can be climbed.  The newest tower, built in 1870, is the tallest tower on the Great Lakes which is open to the public for climbing and is still in service.
Both towers have adjacent light keeper's dwellings which are restored and open to visitors.
